When I found out my sister was having a baby, I was excited. When I found out it was a girl, I was extra excited—because it meant I could throw the pinkest, bubbliest brunch baby shower imaginable. There was just one small logistical detail: my sister and mom live in Texas, and I live in California. Which meant I wasn’t just hosting a baby shower—I was planning, crafting, packing, and shipping an entire event across state lines.
So I did what any seasoned project manager would do: I made spreadsheets, menus, timelines, and backup plans. And because I know I’m not the only person who appreciates a well-organized party plan, I’m sharing everything here so you can recreate this Champagne Brunch Baby Shower yourself.

READY TO POP
I started where all good party planning begins—Pinterest. After falling down a rabbit hole of baby shower and brunch inspiration, I landed on a Champagne Brunch theme. It felt celebratory without being over-the-top, perfect for a daytime event, and easy to tie into food, drinks, and décor.
From there, I locked in:
- A pink + gold color palette
- Clean, playful fonts
- A simple tagline: “Ready to Pop”
Once the visual direction was set, I hit Amazon and Etsy to source décor.
Decorate!

As noted, theme of the Baby Shower is “Champagne Brunch”, thus I went with a gold bubbles pattern on all the paper products and table cloths/runners. Additionally, I also used small vases with pink roses throughout my buffet to pop in some pink coloring.

Craft the Look

Because I am a crafty person, I made a couple of garlands to help tie the theme together. It was pretty straightforward – mostly just scissors and craft paper and a couple of hours. I found glitter paper in the 3 shades of pink from my color pallet in the scrapbook section of a craft store. I shared the cut-outs and instructions if you’d like to recreate them here:

Mini Champagne Bottles
Keeping in with the Champagne Brunch theme, who doesn’t like a little bubbly to go? These can be pretty inexpensive at a few dollars each and I designed custom tags which you can download here:
Custom Lolli-POPs
I ordered these custom lollipops from Etsy which were both adorable and delicious. I picked pink berry and Champaign flavors that matched with the theme. Check them out here:
Drink Menu
Additionally, I went with light and fruity drinks that matched the colors of the party and worked well for a brunch event. As an added bonus I came up with some cute thematic names since it’s a baby shower and made a drink menu sign. The drinks are easy to premix but you’ll want to add soda only when serving. You can download the drink menu sign here:

Brunch Menu
Again, sticking with the theme of brunch, I picked out some easy to make finger foods that were breakfast themed. When doing an event like this it’s important to choose foods that are easy to prepare in advance so you dont end up stuck in the kitchen for the party.

Despite the long-distance planning and logistics, everything came together beautifully and most importantly, my sister was thrilled. If you’re planning a baby shower (or honestly any brunch-focused party), I hope this gives you inspiration and a roadmap. With a clear theme, some advance prep, and a few thoughtful details, hosting doesn’t have to be overwhelming.
Cheers to bubbly, brunch, and parties worth planning
